What if…

What if…

What if the world would stop spinning?
What if the ground starts to break and crumble?
What if the weather would turn bad?
What if the sky doesn’t stop raining?
Then nobody would notice if im crying…

What if things just ain’t right?
What if it was never meant to be?
What if it was just me all the way?
What if it’s a sign?
Start dropping me hints…

What if it wasn’t enough?
What if i don’t have that much to offer?
What if im not the one?
What if it was all me of being too many minds?
Probably think too much…

Here you are. One of Dann’s poetry on "What if". But what’s make him thought of what if it is this or what if it is that? Being afraid i suppose. Really should stop thinking. Maybe things wasn’t very much serious or so it seems. Probably all because of too many shoulder angels and demons whispering to the ear on their opinion.

Found this sentence somewhere in an article. A great article that was so well written and needless to say, worth reading. Will post the article when there’s time.

"It would just be nice if once in your life, things worked out the way you wanted them to"

The Road Not Taken

Tuesday, March 27th, 2007

He doesnt have much option in his pockets. Red pill or the blue pill. Ops, it sounds like matrix. Lolz. Probably shouldnt address it in this matrix-logy manner. Speaking pragmatically, he has two choices which determine something important in his life. Whether to take the route on the left or the one on the right. More like "The Road Not Taken" written by Robert Frost. Ever read of that? Should take a look, it was well presented.

Though the road show least welcoming to him, he decided to take it. He wouldnt mind if the path may be abit of a curve. Taking all the consequences into account, he has made his ground. What else could it be? There might be a happy ending for him, or probably touchwood, lead to ghostly manner of route and then, dead end. Dang. But GOD knows if its before the fullstop of the road, he make a U-turn after much sorrow and grieves? On the other hand, there might be a great ending awaits him at the end of the road. Blek. He may not see what is or how is the final, never the less, he is determined to give it a try.

He was once asked if he would ever regret taking the road not taken. He thought for a moment listening to his conscious and subconscious. He said that it would be more regretful than not to take the bended road. If again touchwood, things doesnt turn out as expected, at least in his heart, he would be glad that he once ride on the path. Same goes to the route having a person who once walked through. A walk to remember. Gosh, a walk to remember. Another movie i once watched. Starring Mandy Moore and that… that… aiyah, forgotten who is actor. It reminds me of the soundtrack of the movie; Mandy Moore - Cry. Quite a worth watching movie.

And there he is, on the road not taken. Or was it the road least taken? Neh anyway, the road not taken probably sounds better…

300

300. Or so it seems…

The storyline goes back to the ancient time where the Persians are dominating the large amount of countries. They demand earth and water on every piece of land they saw upon. Having great empire of armies, troopers and slaves, many have no choice but to obey and kneel down before the king Persian. But not the Spartans.

Clinching on sharp Spartan sword against the neck of the Persian messenger, the king Leonidas state, ‘You threaten my people with slavery and death.’
‘This is madness!!!’ defend the Persian messenger. Trying to avoid his own death.
It was then it all begins when king Leonidas respond, ‘Madness?’ Questioning the Persian.
THIS IS SPARTA‘, continue Leonidas and stomp the follower into the deep-dark-mystery well that mark the end of the Persian messenger.

Claimed from the descendent of Hercules himself, the Spartans fear no death. To only the death in the battlefield is the greatest honor on Spartan could ever achieve. Surrender or admit defeat doesnt appear in their dictionary. They fight for the righteous of their wife, kids and the olds. It was an epic battle between the 300 Spartans and millions of Persian.

Many believed that Leonidas couldnt lead Sparta to victory having just 300 with him. Against all odds with great strategy, the lady luck is accompanying the 300. Not until the self claim hunchback Sparta betray them. Showing the route to out wipe the 300 from behind, the Spartans was overrun. Reinforcement arrived late as king Leonidas gracefully died in the battle. But still, the history doesnt chance. It was now; the proportion is 3 Persians to 1 Spartan. The movie shows no ending, but many include me foresee the night belongs to the Spartans.

Apart from the beheading and blood shed battle, it was a worth watching movie. The design, art and cimeratography are simply mesmerizing. Look at the trailer then you will know what i mean. Needless to say, it’s two thumbs up from me.

Empty Handed

Undeniable. This year, the Gunners walk home empty handed. Without a silverware to decorate their wardrobe this season. For Arsenal’s fan like me, it is a massive disappointment. Faith and hope were being wipeout completely in two weeks. Out of reach in EPL as the contenders for the title would be either Red Devils or the Blues. Knock out by Chelsea in Carling cup, overrun by McCartney’s late strike in FA Cup and outcast in Champion League by PSV. Certainly the great Arsene Wenger would be left frusfrated.

Looking back on those years where the non-flying dutchman Bergkamp partnering king Henry threatening the defence. My idol Pires, on the left flank and Ljungberg on the right wing menacing the penalty box. With great captaincy of Vieira handling the team responsibility, Gilberto will be holding defence duty on this shoulder. Cole and Lauren going up front with every opportunity. Solid defending by Campbell and Toure and great hand keeping by Lehmann.

It is almost a perfect combination. Inch perfect passing. Great one-two. Toy the defence. Goal. Having played mesmerizing and breath-taking football, many agreed that they are one of the best in Europe.  Dangerous on counter attacks and their favourite left side of the field. It was these great men dominating EPL and handed professor Wenger with a season unbeaten. They were invinsible.

As for now, they turn from hero to zero…

Dont sigh. With the emerging of young talents, there are hope for the future. The young guns namely Adebayor, Denilson, Diaby, Fabregas, Walcott, Clichy and Eboue, they will terrorize in the next few years to come. There are couple of matches left before this season end. Lets hope Arsenal could book a flight in next year Champion League and claim a top spot.
