Saturday’s midnight
Saturday, July 21st, 2007He took off his shoe and walked across the beach. It was the place that
was once, and will always be in his list of favorite hangout spots. A
place where he could set himself free from the rest. A place where he
could find his peace. His paradise.
Gently rubbing his feet against the sand, he smiles. That was the same
old feeling when she covered his feet with the soft sand. He strolled
along until he came to a spot and sat down. The spot where their first
date took place. Succumb his feet under the soft sand, he suddenly
indulged himself with the sweet memories they once had.
Cool sea breeze whispering upon their face. She sat beside him, resting
her head on his shoulder with her hands clinching on his arm. The moon
was kind enough to brighten the night on Christmas Eve, giving sight to
the peoples who celebrate by the beach. Together they counted the stars
above them, trying to identify the mysterious zodiac that they’ve
learnt during school. Sharing dreams as they cuddled on each other.
With firecrackers launching high above them decorating the dark skies,
it was a night of near perfection.
She was sweet. Far more than sweet… Sweet was a little underrated for
her; she was lovely. Simply gorgeous. She may not be perfect, but for
him, she’s near to Hilary Duff and Rainie Yang that he would want to
get stuck with when a lift broke down. His world was painted ever since
she steps into it. The curvy smile that set things straight, the sweet
fragrance from the long silky hair, and just by looking into her eyes,
he could get lost in it. The way she fills his senses; she was an angel
from above. She completes him.
That night, their lips met for the first time.
Sigh. She’s no longer beside him. She left for somewhere else,
somewhere far away. But her memories still haunt him. Nights were the
usual invasion of sadness that drowns him. He didnt have the ability to
turn back the time. No. Even if he could, he couldnt do anything to
change the history. It wasnt their fault for the separation. Not that
he didnt tried; not that he wasnt good enough. Probably they just wasnt
meant to be…
She was in his arm when she gave her last breath. He cried and hugging her even tighter when she walked away.
Days without her; nights without her; a meaningless endeavor. A life
with no purpose. Since there’s no more her, there’s no more anniversary.
He wondered; if she would be watching at him from above… Chuckle*. He
misses her so much that he finds it hard to move forward.
"That day onwards,
We no longer meet each other,
I could only say…
…Goodbye"

Thinking of writting something so… here it is. Well, havent thought of a title though. As for now, guess i’ll better get a rest.
"Late Saturday night,
I thought of you,
Nothing special,
Just reminiscing…"
Signing off,
