Let It Snow

October 25th, 2007 by archangeleo

Humming on Beatles - Last Christmas

"btw did i told you that it snowed"

Why isnt it snowing here? So much i wanna know how it feels like when it snow… Walking under the snow. Buried myself underneath it. Taste the snow; wondering how it feels like?

Make our own Frosty the Snowman. With a orange carrot and twigs branching out. Buttons on the belly and not to forget, the black top hat.

Then there may be snowball throwing competition. LOL. Let it snow. Cover the road with inches of snow. And some end up bringing "sirap" to sweeten it. Red and dark choco. Self made ice kacang.

Snow… it feels like Christmas ^^

How Ironic

October 21st, 2007 by archangeleo

Well, i guess its been a few days now. Probably been weeks. Was it the right decision made afterall? Was it wise to do so?

Considering it might produce a good outcome. Goodness to each of those involved. Statistics are showing its findings. Pundits and odds are predicting its outcome. One happy ending.

Ironically, why am i feeling this way?

An Event Worth To Witness

October 6th, 2007 by archangeleo

Listening to Enrique Iglesias - Escape

Its 1.13am on Sunday morning. And i just couldnt forgive myself if i dont write this down. I witness something that worth the effort of going. Man, i glad i was there. Not much of a big deal, but it is one happy moment that very much worthy to be remembered.

First and foremost, thanks to BeeLean and SzeSze for the treat at Takehana and Tao at AutoCity. Dinner was cool with Mr.Bean’s accompaning us showing off his hilarious movements. Serving Japanese style with delicious tantalizing cuisine. Indeed yummy…

Next stop was a drink at Tao. This is where it begin. Upon enjoying the Sex on the Beach (cause the name seems tempting? lol), the deejay announced that there was an artist in the house and he would like to sing a song or two. Applause from the floor. To my surprise he sat beside my table. I get the front seat. Up close and personal with the artist? Probably…

Crowds starting to get larger wondering who he is. After singing, the 99 roses comes in. He propose to his girlfriend. Expression of love in public; awesomely cool. It turns out that he wasnt any artist or something; he’s just a normal person proposing to his girlfriend with a big sincerity. Usually you get to see those in tv or so, but this is live.

Of cause, she answered "YES". One happy couple; one happy ending. Even i still have a smile craved at my face thinking of that moment. Guess he confirmed me that the plan may actually works out. ^^

May that couple will be living in happiness and harmony from now until forever. Lets bless them.

I’m Home…

September 30th, 2007 by archangeleo

Evening approaches as she began her daily laundry. Gathering the clothes; she starts to iron them. Straightening the wrinkles from the shirt; erasing the aftermath from the washing machine. Never in her life she regrets doing them. Believing those were her responsibility and commitment towards the family. In fact, she enjoys it.

She smiles a litle. "Nice taste he have there", she whispers to herself. That shirt was newly brought by his son, Sean. Not from any famous or expensive brand, but rather affordable with nice design. It’s like finding a needle in a stack of hay. Perhaps a little over elaborating.

Looking back, he’s now all grown up. No longer a crybaby that needed spoon-feed. Able to judge on what’s right and not; responsible for his own actions. Working in a local company with an impressive salary. Regardless on how old he is, to her mom, he’s still a kid.

However, he’s still single at the moment. Like every parents dream, she wishes to see her son building a family of his own.

"Mom…", a voice suddenly appear in the living room. That was Sean, wearing grey long sleeves turtle neck attire matching a dark cargo pants. He added, "I’m going off for movie with Jane."

She said happily, "Dating? When are you gonna bring her home? Dont be shy ba, you are"

It’s not much of a surprise to her as she’s been expecting it. Saturday is the usual night out for him. She wont interrupt her son’s social life as long as he doesn’t indulge himself with danger. Or anything that could possibly harm himself.

He instantly replies, "We are just normal friend. By the way, im gonna be late tonight, so dont stay up and wait for me. Okay, im going off, she’s waiting. Bye mom"

"Everything begins with a friendship. Just like your dad and me. Enjoy your night. Drive safely and take care"

Putting on his favourite white sporty shoe, he’s off from his house. Sliding into he car; playing his favourite album; he drove off to fetch her.

**********************************************************************

It’s 2.30 in the morning. But still no sign of him coming home. Instead on hitting his son advise earlier on, she, like always stay up and wait for him to got home safely. For she cant have a good sleep worrying about her son. Unlike her, her husband was already in slumberland. Facing the television, switching from one channel to the other channel, there isn’t any program that could interest her.

A slight glance at the clock hung in the dining hall, its approaching 3.

Picking up the phone, she gave him a call. Reminding him about the time. To her delight he response, "Im now home, just outside the house."

Moments later, she could hear the sound of the key unlocking the lock and opening the gate. Follow closely by the sound of locking the gate. After a while, the door still wasnt open. Thinking the he might be having difficulties, she moves towards to open the door to welcome him home.

When the door is open, there wasnt anyone there. Silence. Except for the wind chime playing its own melody between the gate and the door. But where is he? "Is the a joke?" she question herself. Upon dialing his cellphone again, she saw his shoe on the rack at the living room. That was the shoe that he wore just now. No doubt it is. It wasnt there just now. He wore it and how can it be displayed at the rack? No sign of any foul play.

"Tooot, tooot… tooot, tooot", was all she heard on her cellphone. She called again, and recieved the same response. No one is picking up.

**********************************************************************

Sean walks towards her mom from behind and said, "Mom, im home"

She didn’t notice him. Perhaps he has already expected it.

Again, "Im home…"

Thanks for reading. ^^

I Wanna Go Home

September 27th, 2007 by archangeleo

Listening to Michael Buble - Home

It freaking cold here. Much colder from there i used to be in. No where absurd, just in office. It’s the routine month end support that got me stuck up here.

But im indeed thankful to have my friends to accompany me even if its just part of the night. Whether its from online, sms or colleague; at least i dont have to struggle and cough my way through it alone. Else it would be one deadly boring night. Its now approximately 2 1/2 hours more before i could head over for dim sum. Till then,

"Another summer day,

Has come and gone away,

In Paris and Rome,

But i wanna go home."

Sunrise

September 8th, 2007 by archangeleo

Listening to Rainie Yang - Wan Mei Bi Li

"Dont you guys have anything better to do like… SLEEP?", was the common question that most of us would get today.

Its been quite sometime since i wake up so early. Its 4.15am when my alarm clock ring me up. The sky’s still dark as usual; accompanied by the cool wind that would send chill to your spine. Eyes are tired, so as the body. But whats more tempting then watching the SUNRISE? We’ve seen the sunset, so nows the sunrise.

Gathered at my friend’s house at 5am… wow, that is really one darn early morning. The usual spot at Macallum Street no longer permit us for the morning sight. Thus, we turned to Esplanade. In the end, it wasn’t quite a view as the mist took the honor to block the morning sun (since it rain at that night). Nothing much we could see; but i guess its worth while in the end, considering we enjoyed the morning.

Apart from that, it was quite an adventure looking for a public toilet in the wee morning. LOL. Dim sum for breakfast, then back to sleep.

I guess we’ve done the sunrise. Next on the list would be shooting stars? Or meteor shower? Though i have a great feeling that we would probably go for a second sunrise. Till then…

Bored

September 6th, 2007 by archangeleo

Here im, blogging again.
Listening to Henley Xu  & Orange - Wo Men Gou Gou Shou.

Ever experience an outcome where you suddenly have nothing to hold on or to grab upon? Like rely on a medium so much that and off a sudden when it’s not there, you felt its hard to be independent again. For instance, me. Glued to my pc almost everyday, and now when its gone, i lost my niche. Bad news as my hard disk crashed on that fateful morning when i try to login into my pc.

"DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER"

To add matter worst, i found out there were too many sectors in my hard disk damaged. ARGH!!! More than 8GB of my songs are now gone. Don’t think im able to get them back. Perhaps things that i would like to recover most would be the pictures and photos. Thinking of those pictures that i’ve edited before and now lost, man, i took a lot of time to develop it. I don’t think i did back them up. Sigh…

Im now using my friend’s laptop to post this blog. Not to complain or to whine; just to release the boringness within me. The clock suddenly slows down. The pendulum stop. It’s gonna be a long night. Hope that i can get back my pc soon with a new hard disk upon it.

I’ll stop as for now, going out. Sien. Can’t even mapling; that’s double the "zzzzz"

Queen Elizabeth II

September 3rd, 2007 by archangeleo

Merdeka eve mishap was indeed an unpleasant present. The driver’s eye glued with stamp. Scratch and run. Even leaving an i’m-sorry-note would be helpful, but it wasnt there. *Sob*… Pity my helpless vehicle. And my colleague joked, "Aiyah, i told you how many times d, dont park beside pretty girls mah. Pretty girls dont know how to drive one. Cause pretty girl always got people fetch. LOL."

Speechless… What a comment.

Moving on to Queen Elizabeth II, better known as QEII. Its located at town near Jetty; beside Hai Nan Restaurant to be more precise. The usual place that suffocate with dullness at night, suddenly seems lifely and energetic.

Its a pub that provide you with different kind of feels. Giving you this feeling that you are boarding a cruise or something; and partying on top of it. With the semi-open-air concept, you could enjoy the cool sea breeze, night scene accompanied by ships and sampans by the harbour; high class atmosphere; and not to mention tasting the raindrops when its raining. Based on the descriptions, i guess its enough to underline how brilliant QEII is for an outing.

Not more not less, just the usual seven partying by the heaven. Since all of us are first timer in QEII, we dress ourselves in quite formal i would say. Overdress? Perhaps a little. Chemical Romance. The guys look charming and stunning while the girls look glamour and elegant. With exceptionally beautiful girls in every corner of the room, OMG, cant help by nose bleeding… where’s the tampon? F3.

Ordered Martell and two Heinekens. Some of us occupied with red-faces; drunk-y look; dizzy; high and drunk. Did i just said drunk? LOL. We took countless of photos and of cause, laughing all night long. What more can i say? Two thumbs up. It was a great night. More than the usual great of "great". Extraordinary, splendid and, and… magnificent. And, and… whatever there is in the synonyms that you could googled. Superb. And the list goes on…

Hmm, if you would to question on my departure, perhaps you should question yourself on punctuality… ^^

Reach home a little bit teng-teng (drowsy). Blurry… but still, went online. Looking back; all of us cant get enough of it.

A lovely night.

Sunset

August 13th, 2007 by archangeleo

ChillOut-ers gathering. The sunset by the beach was indeed mesmerizing. Brilliant isnt it? It was a real life picture comparing to my previous blog entry. Below; except there were only 7 instead of 10 members.

1_164482204lStarted of with hmm… yea, lighting up the fire for our BBQ. Using artificial charcoal end us up consuming tremendious effort. With our experienced players in action, it wasnt much a problem not considering the amount of time used for it. Sadly there wasnt any chance for me to see caveman using rocks and woods to light the fire up. Well, we then start pouring our food little by little. Marinated drumsticks, sausages and balls. Among the countless attempts in BBQ, this is the first time im having cooked drumstick. Used to be half cooked due to our poor chef skill… -_-"

Too much foods as we overestimated our potential in clearing them up. Too little water as we are always occupied with excel time. Some more, "One has to drink to the proportion of the body size".

As the sun slowly drowing into the sea, the tides gradually invading our land. Fearing our belongings will get swipe away, we call it a day and proceed with our next plan. Get clean up.

We then cruised into coffeebean. Indulged ourselves with coffee hoping that it would be able to make us awake all night. Next, camp at Ban’s Aunty apartment. What else can 4 guys and 4 girls do for the rest of the night? Cards. UNO is one sick game. One sick sick game. 26 cards in hand, and still counting. Man, that half a deck. Keep drawing them. Draw 2. Draw 4. Missing color. Siao eh… bad hand. Sigh. Cheat/Bluff. Snap. Truth or Dare; hmm… more like Truth or Truth.

"An unfinished quest in my cupboard,
Gotta completes it.
Was it a waste of effort?
Dont wanna think about it."… done.

Towards the end of the day, some started to grow tired. Faces turned pale. Visions succumbed with blurriness. And some dropped dead on bed. Snoore… Breakfast on potato salad (it was good) and sandwiches. Last but not least, home. Bathed, then it’s my turn to drop dead on my matress.

"You are weak, not that you are nice to hug", translate to hokkien to understand the humor.

A great outing i would say. Non-stop laughter. It was fun… ^^

P/S: When are we going for the sunrise? Im looking forward for it.

Sunset_1

Brilliant isnt it? All of us in a picture. Thought cant really justify who is who. Saw me? Got ler… The one i, third from the right. With blue hair and beside a stupid guy wearing a shield with a weird hairdo. LOL. An chua? Handsome bo? (i mean the hair)… Even my mom says im yandao. Si pek thick face. F3…

Well, credits goes to Amy as i pluck the picture from her blog. She’s the architect. She’s the owner of this masterpiece. Again, all credits goes to her. That time when she called me to hang on the rope, i never thought that i would end up in this pic. And i even performed catwalk. Swt…

Sunset? Maybe its a SUNRISE.

Amy, thanks for involving me in your art. It was beautifully done… ^^
